Hi I’m Steve and by the end of reading  this I hope you will ‘’Believe in the power of Steve’’ . A bit cheesy I know but that’s how my life in radio broadcasting began.
Walking to work and listening to a local radio station I heard they wanted people to audition for ‘’The Idle Factor’’. I thought I would edge my bets and have a go by leaving a short message and ending my audition with ‘’and you will believe in the power of Steve’’ this saying proved to be successful and I was drafted in coming third out of five (politics where involved me being from Blackburn and the station being in Burnley . . . . . well that’s what I think).
Anyway after licking my wounds for a few months I picked myself back up and got in touch with the leg end James Brindle who told me to ‘’come and ava look’’ so I did. Needless to say it went successfully they loved me (modest I know)
I’m on air every Friday from nine till eleven with Mr Starkies Twisted Tracks, Tune in have a listen have a laugh as I play the widest variety of music with Something old, something new, something borrowed and some blues it’s a quality quartet that’s guaranteed to get your foot tapping at some point.
