Donations
In order to maintain the running of RHB it takes hundreds of pounds
a year for things such as music broadcast licensing (PPL,PRS),
Hospital Broadcasting Association membership, music purchases,
equipment maintenance plus lots of other essential things including
occasional unforeseen circumstances.
Without donations, sponsorship and fundraising events, RHB would not
be able to function and provide such an invaluable service to the patients
at The Royal Blackburn Hospital.
The station is run entirely by volunteers and as there are no employees
in the organisation 100% of any money raised and donated goes back
into RHB.
With this in mind anyone who is willing to donate can do so by forwarding
a cheque to our treasurer made out to Radio Hospitals Blackburn at the
address on our contact page.

Due to the recent closure of Rossendale Hospital radio due to the
relocation of the hospital services, RHB was allocated a share of their
assets and money from their bank balances, below are pictures of
the donated cheque handed over to the value of £1689.57.
